Q. Why is our laser the best? A. It is the very latest class 4 Medical grade laser from USA that is specifically built for hair removal and it can be tailored to suit your skin colour and hair type for maximum results. Our laser has its own inbuilt refrigerated cooling system that cools the skin before and after laser exposure, some older lasers use a gas for cooling which can have adverse side affects on the skin.
Q. What is the difference between Laser and IPL, SIPL, VPL , SPL or any pulse light derivited? A. Laser uses a specific wavelength of light (755nm) Alexandrite that specifically targets the hair follicle where as intense pulse light uses multiple wavelengths and targets everything in its path. IPL machines deliver a wide range of wavelengths and are more likely to damage skin at higher energy level.
Q. Why doesn’t every business use Laser? A. Lasers are very expensive (well over $100,000) and the licensing required by Qld Health to own and operate Lasers in Qld is very strict that is why we are one of a few clinics that are fully licensed.

Q. How do I know the specialists are qualified in what they are using? A. All our laser specialists are fully qualified and licensed with Qld Health to obtain their laser license they need to have completed many hours of supervised training. When visiting an Image by Laser clinic all laser specialist have their qualifications and licenses on display. This is our safety net to our clients.
Q. How many treatments will I need? A. We recommend a minimum of four treatments at the correct intervals .Your laser specialist will advise you on this.
Q. Does it hurt? A. Our Laser has a built in cooling system that blows cool air onto the skin during and after treatment so there is less discomfort than other hair removal processes.
Q. How long does the treatment take. A. Treatment time is based on the size of the area because our laser can fire up to 15 times a second where as pulse light can only fire once every three to five seconds. We do not go on time and it’s not a race against the clock to meet a low price and miss half the area in doing so, our specialists take the time necessary to complete your treatment diligently and professionally and with total clearance of the area on each visit.
Q. Why do some places say they use laser when they don’t. A. Most clinics cannot use a true laser, and try to claim that Intense Pulsed Light technology is an equal substitute or use the word laser in advertising to mislead you.
