We’re pleased to be the first clinic in Australia to offer you one of the newest, most effective hair removal options available today.

As a specialised hair removal and cosmetic clinic with many years’ experience in the field, we conducted a lengthy trial period with selected clients, using the new 755nm Alexandrite hair removal laser. We wanted to make sure that we could offer you this new technology with 100% confidence—and we weren’t disappointed.

In fact, we were astounded by the results.

Feeback from our clients tells us that they have experienced less discomfort compared to the Intense Pulse Light method, they’ve required less treatments, and they’re achieving their desired results twice as fast.

How it works: the laser penetrates the top layer of skin with a specific wavelength of light (as opposed to multiple wavelengths used in Intense Pulse Light treatments), targeting melanin in the hair follicle. This, in turn, damages and destroys the regrowth potential of the hair follicle. The specific wave length of light (755nm) enhances the accuracy of the treatment and gives far superior results.

The new Polylase 755nm Alexandrite hair removal laser uses a special cooling system that lowers the temperature of the skin during, and after, laser exposure. This is why the treatment is regarded as a lot less painful than other treatments. Some patients have compared the treatment to the sensation of the snap of a rubber band.

Please note: for your safety, the ownership and operation of lasers in QLD is highly regulated. Clinics need to have an owner’s license, clinic license, safety officers, licensed operators and licensed equipment, which is why very few clinics are fully licensed.

Rest assured that Image by Laser is a fully licensed clinic, and if you encounter operators using a true Laser, you should be able to see their licenses at any time. If they cannot produce these licenses, we advise against using their services.

After IPL before Image by Laser:
After 6 treatments with a low powered IPL (Intense pulsed light) machine at another clinic - it hadn't made much of a difference to the amount of hair on the back area. This client was reluctant to undergo any further treatment because he was disappointed with the results from IPL and was unaware that Image by Laser's technology was different.

It is very important you are sure that the machine that is being used on you will actually deliver the results...

After Image by Lasers' Polylase:
Partway through treatment course with a high powered medical grade Polylase laser you can see a huge reduction in the number of actively growing hairs. After just 2 treatments with Image by Laser the results are far superior.
