Powerful laser technology removes black and all colours effectively
Laser tattoo removal uses a medical grade Conbio Medlite C6 ND: YAG Q switched laser or Ruby laser to remove tattoo ink from underneath the skins surface.
Our powerful Q switched lasers (Medlite C6 and Ruby) selectively targets the clumps of tattoo ink, penetrating through the skin and shattering it into smaller particles which can then be removed via the body’s immune system.
Laser tattoo removal results in a gradual fading which will occur over several weeks. The number of treatments required will vary from person to person as it depends on the age and location of the tattoo, the colour and the type of ink used.
A series of treatments are required for full tattoo removal, although a fewer number can be done to fade back the ink to allow a cover up tattoo to be applied to the area if desired. A large variety of tattoo inks and colours can be removed with this tattoo removal technology.
At Image by Laser Brisbane and Sunshine Coast we use the Medlite C6 which is most effective type of tattoo removal laser in the world, ensuring that you receive a great result every time. The Medlite C6 utilises several different wavelengths to remove coloured tattoo ink, which is by far more effective than systems which try to remove all colours using only one wavelength. Image by Laser have also introduced a Ruby laser to target the hard to target tattoo colours such as green and we have seen great success with this laser technology.
Laser tattoo removal does not have to hurt. Image by Laser uses a zimmer cooling machine which cools the area before, during and after laser tattoo removal which protects the skin by decreasing the thermal reaction and minimising discomfort. By incorporating the zimmer into the laser tattoo removal treatments we have no need for topical anaesthetic due to the numbing effect of the cold on the skin.
For those don’t want the tattoo anymore it allows them to wear whatever they like and not have to cover up the tattoo with clothing/make-up or bandages for work or social events. Laser tattoo removal is also a lot safer than previous removal methods such as dermabrasion or methods where an acid based solution is injected into the skin using a device similar to a tattoo machine.
